Just about to reconnect the battery after an 8mth "Lay Up"..(new belts,water pump,brakes,h/lamps etc)... are there any precautions I should take regarding the ECU memory's etc prior to connection and starting..? your comments would be appreciated.........Thanks....... Guest snoopaloopa Posted May 27, 2011 Share Posted May 27, 2011 Basically, no It 'might' want to relearn everything as its been off for a while, so just take it for a good drive and use all the gears for accel and decel etc so it can get all its base settings sorted out.
