Mk 4 Cab 1.6L 1986 What Induction Kit Can I Get For This Type Of Engine

I wanna tune my engine ever so slightly lol just wanna no what bits to get ie exhaust induction kit etc..

You can get a filter that mounts on top of the carb though a replacement filter and cold air ducted to its inlet will be better. If you can stretch to changing the carb for a XR2 of XR3 and getting someone to set it up this will relaese a few more.

 

A four branch manifold and full exhaust will also make it sound alot better. With all these changes it should produce around 120bhp. Cam change will up it to 135bhp which is about the limit unless your spending big bucks which isn't really worth it.

Cheers dude il look into doing that wouldn't mind changing tha carb it's jus gettin hold of xr2 or xr3 1 not easy to come across r they ?

Iv looked into getting the air filter from k&n they said it would be bout £42 so is that good price ? An also what's the best exhaust to try get hold of
