Guest tippy74 Posted April 22, 2011 Share Posted April 22, 2011 can any1 help iv changed the loom ' ecu 'distribtor 'motor craft module 'and the lil black box thing wiv the plug and pipe going 2 it but im srill not gettin a spark at the plugs and iv even taken a distribtor off a xr2i and tryed that but no and the xr2i drove away once refitted????? now im thinking relays ???? any idea VERY WELCOME thanks shaun Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
iansoutham Posted April 22, 2011 Share Posted April 22, 2011 I assume you are running EFI? IF so, check the crank position sensor (CPS). IF that is not working/picking up the signal from the flywheel, the ECU does not know when to fire the spark plugs. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
