Guest djk Posted February 10, 2011 Share Posted February 10, 2011 Hi everyone, is there anyone out there who knows where I can get a replacement for the rubber seal that runs around the bottom of the roof on the cabriolet. Mine looks like is shrunk and has popped off in places. Would a Ford Dealership be able to help (I'm assuming its the same on a MK6 as a Mk5) or preferably does anyone know where I can get this seal at a reasonable price either new or used. Thanks all. Guest Cooderkey Posted February 12, 2012 Share Posted February 12, 2012 I got a quote last week, for this seal for my Mk6/7 97 P Plate, from the local Ford Distributor, and they quoted £89.00 PLUS VAT. I got a reasonable one from eBay for six quid. No splits except by two poppers. Doesn't leak or affect the fitting. It will do until I find a new one for a tenner.! ! ! !
