Guest uk300 Posted November 28, 2010 Share Posted November 28, 2010 i have a mk3 cab with electric roof ,it stopped working so i disconnected the pistons,when you press the switch to operate it,they make a noise when up ,but when you push to go down nothing happens. Guest Lee81 Posted November 28, 2010 Share Posted November 28, 2010 Sounds like one of the two relays has stopped working. They function as a pair but when the solenoid goes you will only be able to operate the roof one way. You don't have to disconnect the rams to get the roof operating manually either.
