Guest Myers820
Hi guys, new to this forum. but i am now a mk3 cab owner. Bought it as a rolling shell as a project. i have a mk4 car for a donor using dash and carpet etc. Looking at gearbox mouting there does not seem anyway i can fit :S. i was planning dropping engine, box and shafts out the bottom and bolting it rite into my mk3, is that possible ? any hints or tips ? or will it just not fit ? Guest Myers820
i know what your saying but the gearbox mounts are different on the mk3 to the mk4, mk4 has a large bar mout accross the bottom on it, were as the mk3 has a front mounted gearbox. the mk4 has holes for the larger mount but the mk3 does not :S
Guest dazzersrst
use the mk3 one on the mk4 box and the mk3 mounts you just need to play around with the parts you have
