Guest cuddles Posted June 3, 2010 Share Posted June 3, 2010 hi when i brought my mk5 cab it was already lowered, i now want it back to standard as i have heard that its not good to lower a mk5 cab, what i would like to know is what do i replace is it just the springs or the whole lot. If they just fitted lowering springs then just standard springs will do it but check the shocks as fitting lowering springs to standard shocks can kill them. It they have fitted a whole kit you will need shocks and springs. I don't think fitting standard springs to uprated shocks works as the ram tends to be shorter.
