Guest chrishannen Posted May 30, 2010 Share Posted May 30, 2010 Hi. Kind AA man told me, as we were being towed back from Clacket Services last night, that I had No. 1 valve burnt out. Can anyone assist with procedure as I am not particularly engine minded or is there some kind soul who lives near me who could do the job? I am near New Milton Hants. Guest shaun Posted May 30, 2010 Share Posted May 30, 2010 (edited) for starter's you will have to take the head off to replace the valve and find out what made it burn the valve out. i would replace timing belt while the head is off so head gasket set with bolts....timing belt, engine oil, oil filter, valves depending on how many are burnt. this is for starter's hope this helps Edited May 30, 2010 by shaun Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
