Guest stivy Posted April 26, 2010 Share Posted April 26, 2010 she has bin off the road for 4 months, but started every few weeks with no problems, tried to start it again this weekend and no joy, replaced plugs, leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm. plugs sparking but wont fire up, fuel gage has gone funny aswell, cant hear fuel pump buzzing when u put ignition on, but u could on sunday when I tried, its fitted with a toad alarm immobiliser, and i think that might b the problem but not shure, anyone any Ideas and is there anyway I can deactivate the alarm system and run car without it. also does the mk 4 mfi have a fuel pump cut out switch anywhere. WISH I KNEW A BIT MORE ABOUT THE TECNICAL STUFF, BUT I AM A BIG DUMMY WHEN IT COMES TO THE MECHANICAL SIDE OF THINGS Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
