Mk4 Alterntor And Starter Motor Prob

hi just fiiting the alt and starter motor back into mk4 4 cab 1989 cant remember which goes wher ie does the neg lead from the bat go to the altenator ? which ones go to the starter motor think they are both bosch any help greatly appreciated thanks

The starter will be a live straight from the battery(one big thick wire) and another live which is I think 3 wire's together.

there should be a 3 pin block thats goes into alternator a the starter has the red live wire from batt and the black wire from batt and there should be a blue wire which goes to the alternator

So do the back and red go to the same terminal on the starter motor ??

Yea 2 do go on the starter terminal.
