Guest br1gg5y
Hello, newbie here, joined in the hope you can help me out. My wife has a N reg (98??) Mk6 escort cabriolet. There was an intermitant clicking noise from behind the dash. I have traced it to a green relay. Numbers on this relay are as follows; G1UHD 82GG13A025 CA V23134-E8-X41 there is also 6CB, printed in black ink on it. I have unplugged it, and yet everything seems to be working, and I have no warning lights. It is weird. The actual relay was locatted in the dash top right corner where the heater vent is, the one above the fog light switch. Does that make sense? Admin Paul Posted April 8, 2010 Admin Share Posted April 8, 2010 Is it the electric antenna relay ? has it got heated front screen. These are the only 2 relays that should live hidden behind the dash unless its a aftermarket one for a alarm etc

There are 2 relays, the green one I have already mentioned and a grey / white one. Is meant to have an electric aerial. But it doesn't work, and I have not replaced it yet. Reception is fine. Just doesn't go up or down. I cannot hear it trying. So assume the electric motor on the aerial has failed.

Both the antenna and heated windscreen are not working on mine.
