Guest Rustler
Hi Guys. I'm looking to renew the brakes on my '92 XR3i 1.8 130 cabby.(260mm)....its due to go through the DIRIE test soon (French MOT) The front's got the original "Plain Vented"ones still, which seem to stop it ok...BUT ...am wondering if I should go for the"Drilled & Groved" type.....They're over twice the price..tho'...£85...so...are they TWICE as good as the originals ?? Some 1 said the drilled ones tend to crack..buy the non drilled, groved type...... Lots of you cabby's must have tried both types as well as the originals...so lets have your views M8s giv us a clue
Guest shaun
Hi mate like you said some do crack but don't know how long they will last before they crack....Why not just go for grooved 1s they got less chance of cracking!!!!
