Guest DEG Posted March 20, 2010 Share Posted March 20, 2010 bought an rs turbo cabrio its a 1990 with a s2 engine and lsd box. dont know a lot about turbo's so i'll list a few things i need to know. 1.what boost should i be gettin?have a boost gauge tapped in to the tube between a baileys dump valve an the top of the mfi head.(sorry if the names for any parts are wrong by the way)how do i know what its boostin at most iv seen on the guage is 10psi. but not really floored it cos iv got crap feelin on the streerin i need to sort 1st. 2.took off the samco hose(which is too short so need a new one if any one has 1 or knows where i can get them) between the turbo an what i think is the bottom of the intercooler to find brown gunk drippin out what would that be? does the pipe from the turbo go to the intercooler cant rememba now could have been the meterin head? 3. has a small pace intercooler at the front of the radiator whats in it? 4.how is the boost adjusted?
