Guest spaceman Posted February 25, 2010 Share Posted February 25, 2010 Evening all. Does anyone have a fullproof way to fit CVH front crank oil seal to engine in car? Have tried a couple of times now using various methods but always starts leaking again so either damaging the seal or the spring is popping off during install.Obviously cannot push in with fingertips and not enough clearance to use std size hammer to tap in, have used Haynes method using old seal, distance piece(plastic waste pipe), concave washer and bottom pulley bolt but again always leaks.
