Guest ROJ
Hi guys Usual story - at the regular service the mechanic told my wife "FORD recommend camshaft is replaced every ten years for cars with not much annual mileage. Apparently it will cost approx £200 but if left, damage could cause say, around £800." Does this ring true? Thanks Nigel

Guest Cabbytech
I agree, it sounds like the cam belt to me as well, especially for £200, the engine damage would deffo cost a lot more than that, i would get that done asap if its not been done to your knowledge, its the first thing i change regardless of what im told, because i know once ive done it, its deffo done lol.
