hi i have a mk5 cab an its a bit slow compared to my old mr2 not that i'm complanin as the runnin costs and general parts are alot cheaper but how can i boost its power on a budget its got a better exhaust and an xr3i ecu so i was told i'm gonna put an induction kit on but is there anything else i can do

induction kit,plugs and lead and de-cat would be cheapest options, although would only give you 10-15bhp extra if that.

Tried taking some weight out of the car? some people always forget about that

as above. grab yourself a rotten mk5 RS2000 and swap the lot over. 150bhp before you have tuned it straight away. also you can have the bulge bonnet.

 

then break the rest and get your money back on what you spent buying the donor.

 

it all fits straight it chap. oh and is this a mk5? or mk5a/b? wiring is different in the mk5, mk5a/b and mk6 RS2000's
