Guest Stally08 Posted November 11, 2009 Share Posted November 11, 2009 With my cab i want an engine transplant but i am not sure what is best, an obvious one is a rs turbo engine, i want a turbo engine is the rs turbo engine the only option? i dont want to get into the whole fabricating custom engine mounts etc. nice easy sawp which wont break the bank as well. Guest murcus Posted November 15, 2009 Share Posted November 15, 2009 how hard would it be to put a st170 engine in the cab? would i need special mounts? you might need to modify origional mounts, ive not had a look tbh, but i know there are people who have used the engine but not too sure if the rs turbo clutch fits on the bottom end or not, as if it doesnt you would need to move the chassis leg that mounts the gear box over about an inch in order to fit the zetec, or st box Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
