Guest Rustler Posted November 7, 2009 Share Posted November 7, 2009 Hi, Just brought my first Cabby, Part exchanged my "ZIMMER FRAME for it!!!it's an OAP's toy...a 92 XR3i White Zetec 1800..130.with genuine 44000 clocked & 4 owners it goes well,looks great sounds good..but..the only problem I have so far is I find the glove box is locked !!! can't oped with ign'key...the only key supplied on purchase.Should there be another key ?,maybe a door key,if so how do I get one ? or has anyone a clue on an alternativ way of opening it,as I assume the handbook and other relevent info will be there........Thanks in advance...... .........Rustler Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest Cabbytech Posted November 8, 2009 Share Posted November 8, 2009 Hi, the ignition key should also operate the glovebox, my last cabby had that same problem and i had to force it open by pulling on the handle as if it was unlocked, the mechanism inside had busted so the lock wouldnt open, i was lucky and found replacement bits at a dismantlers, Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
