I have an xr3i cab mk4 on a D reg 1986 only had it about a month, and the drivers side indecators go iratic when i press the brake pedal, and when i turn the lights on and press the brake the indecator stops all together, this only happens on the drivers side, i have checked all the bulbs and they are OK, so are the fuses, i have read some of the other posts and they mention an earth in the drivers foot well,would this be my problem, if so what am i looking for and what do i do when i find it. Guest Cabbytech Posted November 7, 2009 Share Posted November 7, 2009 Its deffo an earth problem, best thing to do is find the earth at the light unit itself and make a new earth connection to the car, i would make the new earth local to the lamp unit so it can easily be identified. hope this helps. Guest neilkellow Posted January 2, 2010 Share Posted January 2, 2010 Hi all. Im having a simlar problem. Back lights out. Also dash lights out. All indicators ok. Is this likely to be an earth or a fuse. If a fuse does anyone know where the correct fuse box is?? Sorry for sounding stupid but only got this car yesterday and not familair with it yet.
