Guest ESSEXGIRLRACER Posted October 7, 2009 Share Posted October 7, 2009 SOME REPLACMENT ROOFS DO COME LIKE THAT HUN AND I'M AFFRAID YOU DO HAVE TO CUT YOUR OWN WINDOW HOLE YOU MAYBE ABLE TO FIND A HOOD FITTING PLACE LOCALLY THAT MAY DO IT FOR YOU.......I KNOW WHEN I WAS GOING TO GET ONE OF THESE I DIDN'T WANT TO DO IT MYSELF I RUNG ROUND AND FOUND SOMEONE TO DO IT FOR ME BUT WANTED TO CHARGE SILLY MONEY SO I GAVE UP ON THE IDEA AND BROUGHT A COMPLETE NEW ROOF ON A FRAME SO IT WAS A CASE OF UN BOLT AND BOLT BACK ON X X Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest Cabbytech Posted October 7, 2009 Share Posted October 7, 2009 (edited) They are quite easy to do to be honest, just take your time, have a good sharp knife, a stapler, a good tape measure and plenty of patience, the knack to getting it right is to measure up, and measure again before cutting, if you get the window offset to one side it does look a right pickle with the glass fitted. If all goes well it should take you about an hour or so to fit, remember to put some sealant around the rubber to finish it off and stop any leaks from starting.
