Guest Cabbytech Posted October 5, 2009 Share Posted October 5, 2009 I keep coming over this problem with elec roofs that stop working, with the fuse intact and the elec windows still working as they are fed off the same fuse. Its down to the old fusebox gremlins showing up. I posted this mod on here a long time ago so thought it would be an idea to put it up again. The roof should only work with the engine stopped so this little mod not only gets your roof working again quickly, but lets you operate your roof with your engine running, obviously i dont want to be held responsible for someones roof coming off when doing 50 mph, so you do this mod at your own risk, You have been warned !!! As you can see in the photo, all you have to do is snip off the blue wire and then connect a new wire to the switch (i have used grey here) and connect it to a good earth, job done.
