With the roof up look over the back of the headrest and you'll see the back is covered in ribbed carpet; 1. Remove the roof cover stud at the top outside edge each end, best done with the roof up. 2. remove the two screws, one above each other, about 150mm (6 inches) further inboard on each side 3. Now lower the roof and at each end of the headrest there is a screw from the side that goes into the headrest, you will need to raise the roof slightly as the frame gets in the way. remove each one.
