Admin Paul Posted September 25, 2009 Admin Share Posted September 25, 2009 Hi, there is a fuel cut of switch in the boot on the EFI model, they trigger and shut of fuel in case of a bump. Maybe worth looking. Will be on a bracket in the spare wheel area. Paul
Guest murcus
cant remember tbh if the interia/inhibitor switch cuts the spark as well as the fuel pump, if so you can either pull the button up, or disconnect it if you are unsure about relays, take them out seperately and smell them for any burning smell, this indicates that they are blown im not too sure if theres a relay that covers the coil pack as well as the fuel pump, there possibly is
Guest Cabbytech
Hmmm, out of interest, what is the little red lamp doing next to your clock ? you could have an immobiliser problem, have you had the battery disconnected for any reason lately ? if there is a fault the red lamp will flash a number of times then stop, and then repeats the sequence, if this happens, let me know how many flashes there are in each set, and i should be able to find the problem from that for you. The fuel pump should be fed from fuse 5 and should be a 20Amp one. Edited September 25, 2009 by Cabbytech

Guest tacha_maree
are you getting a spark? CPS will prevent fuel pump prim ing and prevents spark
Guest Cabbytech
Something is causing your immobiliser to operate, this is why your car wont start, have you tried disconnecting the battery and leave it for a few mins, reconnect it and try gain, also try unlocking your car from both sides as sometimes the immobiliser locking cam sticks and gives a false alarm condition, let us know how you get on,
