Guest bobatporty
Just bought a MK5 the only real problem is the gearchange, It's a bit of a quessing game which gear your going to end up in (till I get used to it)and when your in gear the gearstick is like a kenwood mixer. Anyone tell me what bushes will need changing, part numbers and where to get them from
ianxr3i
I have just looked on ford microcat & the part (finis) number for the nylon bushes inside the gear stick are 6172154 & you should be able to get them from fords.

There are 2 nylon bushes & 2 springs. If you ask for a gear linkage repair kit
Guest bobatporty
Cheers Ian. I googled the problem and found rs2000 owners have the same problem and use the same kit you mentioned. Cheers
