Ok so here the problem, I have just reconditioned my cylinder head with all the trimmings, ported and polished new valves etc... Anyway I put the engine back together and now on the third cylinder from the left I have no fuel from this injector it is indirect injection, I followed the supply line down to the fuel distributor but I am now stuck as the Haynes manual says don't mess with it??? ??? I was wondering if any one had come across this problem before and could steer me in the right direction. I have taken the injector off and checked that the line is clear and it is. It had fuel in at the time of checking but not now.

Any help would be appreciated

Many Thanks

Kev

Best to remove the injector from the port. Place it in a jar. Make sure it is still connected.

Block the port off with something and start engine. You will be able to see if it is working.

Try this first as there may be a problem with the head ie valves not sealing or other.

These type of injectors become blocked very easy but don't normally stop releasing any fuel completely.

They can be cleaned with ultra sonics which some companies have or best to get another injector that is known to be working if no fuel is released at all.
