Guest 692secab
if its not power then its just track rod ends , 4 x nuts attaching it to the car 3/4" i think (you have to fold back the tabs on the safety anti turn fixing to turn the nuts ) be warned !! ) , just tap them with a strong flat head and hammer then fold them back the same after the other rack is in , and 1 x 1/2" clamp fixing on the connection to the steering column, the steering rack to column connection is splined also. Wouldn't like to do it again as i did it on my own and the clamp fixing is a bugger as it goes onto a spline bar and the bit you have to get it back on goes into the cabin of the car , so try and get a friend to hold it as i had to in the end after trying to jam it to stay out of the cabin for 1/2 a day !!!!, reckon you maybe able to use long clamps in the footwell area to hold it . Hope this helps mate its a mk3 se cab mine so not sure if yours is 100% the same but it can't be much different i imagine. 692SECAB
