Guest magic rat
I've got a leak on the gearbox of my 5b (looks like a drive shaft seal). It'll be the weekend before I get a chance to have a look and in the meantime I want to top up the oil. I've been told that the B5/iB5 uses a different fluid to the MTX but I'm not sure which box I have. Is there an easy way to identify the different boxes? Its a 95 1.8 Si on an M plate. TIA
Guest magic rat
Right, apparently its an MTX box because it has lift up reverse and a front mounted starter. Does this sound right? I thought all the 1.8's had lift reverse. :msg3:

Guest magic rat
My friendly neighbourhood Ford dealer has confirmed it is an MTX75. He also wants 14 quid for a litre of fluid
