Guest redmanifesto
At some point in it's history my mk6 has been given a (not overly professional) respray. As a consequence of this, I've got patches of red paint on several of the seals, and on the black plastic section between the bonnet and the windscreen (where the wipers mount). I had been thinking of very gently sanding it off using some really fine sandpaper wrapped round something small (pencil maybe?), and then giving them all a good lick of Back-to-Black or something similar. It's only some very small sections - around the size of a 5p or smaller, so nothing too major, but they're annoying me... Any opinions? Guest redmanifesto
Handily enough my fiance's dad runs a building company - I'm pretty sure I've seen these floating about in the tool garage... I'll be off on a search tonight! Cheers very much for the advice

Guest redmanifesto
Well, as it turns out, not only have I seen these floating around at the father-in-law (to be)'s place, I've actually used them on quite a few occasions! Got a tub of them tucked away on the "Cab Stuff" shelf now, still waiting for it to come back from the garage. Really should have realised that it's the middle of summer and nowt is gonna get done quick there...
