I have recently changed my mk 3 escort se cab from a mk 4 to a mk 3 engine again and after changing the lumps i can't even get red lights due to a mix -up with the wiring for the battery,alternator and starter !!,after wiring up everything i can remember ...... i have 3 wires left !! (not good ). I phoned a local 'old skool' ford 'specialist' and he was meant to come to have a peek today ( i know its something f*****g stupid), but i don't want to melt my loom !! Can anyone help with pics or tell me what goes where ?,i've got a haynes but it's not got a good picture of the wiring for the starter solenoid wiring and as i said i don't want to melt anything !!.
