xr3john Posted July 8, 2009 Share Posted July 8, 2009 my ford escort cabriolet has a starting problem it starts up first turn and as soon as you hit the accelerator it cuts out but it restarts ok it ticks over fine but just keeps stalling as you take your foot off the accelerator then after 15 minutes it goes ok Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest hagondaz Posted July 8, 2009 Share Posted July 8, 2009 i have the same probelm absolutly baffeled i just tweaked the screw to adjust the fuel by a tad so it throws through more on choke not the ideal way to sort it but does the job temporarily lol.
