Guest hagondaz Posted June 18, 2009 Share Posted June 18, 2009 hey guys bought a wiring loom second hand and few wires and plugs i need a hand with, i have got a live all the way down to the last fuses but nothing coming out of the relay and into the final plug for the pump :S LIVE IN NO LIVE OUT two bullet kind of connectors PLUG, NOT SURE WHAT FOR there is also a ellow and brown stripped wire??? any help would be fantastic cheers daz Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest mk3lesley Posted July 2, 2009 Share Posted July 2, 2009 :big_wave: sorry to hijack your post but i'm having similar problems with my new (2nd hand) loom and wondered if you could help as your a step closer than me. I've got the back part sussed but I'm not sure what to do with some of the other wires. Firstly I don't have anywhere to connect the bullet type connectors on the rear speaker pods, previous owner has fitted new speakers and used different wires so where do I connect these. I've looked at my front wiring loom behind the ignition barrel and they're circular connectors and the ones on the roof loom are spade ones. Also I don't have any wiring to the electric mirror switch so not sure where to plug the yellow wire from the roof loom. first pic is a black and yellow spade connector any ideas where this goes? http://i599.photobucket.com/albums/tt72/mr...se/IMGP1625.jpg second pic is also a black and yellow wire which I presume connects to the ignition wiring position 1 but how? http://i599.photobucket.com/albums/tt72/mr...se/IMGP1628.jpg third pic is a single yellow wire which I presume is the one that goes to the electric mirror connector (which I don't have) http://i599.photobucket.com/albums/tt72/mr...se/IMGP1629.jpg any help on where and how to fit these wires would be great, do you have to cut or solder any wires to fit the loom? Guest mk3lesley Posted July 3, 2009 Share Posted July 3, 2009 ok well the big yellow conecttor connect to the loom behind the dash first pic the black and yellow wire goes in the yellow relay second pic this wire connects to the loom on the yellow and black wire again behind dash third pic also connects to loom in about the same place as above hope this helps cheers taz, soz for being thick here but I don't seem to have a big yellow connector or is this on the cars wiring loom somewhere and not on the roof loom? also where abouts will I find the other wires do I look behind the dash from the footwell or behind the ignition barrel? and do I need to cut any wires? should of picked up on the first one that went into the back of the relay though, doh Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
