Guest cabby89fmfi
should air be entering/escaping from the inlet manifold where the servo hose goes in, theres like a plastic seal that is not doing its job. my mk4 cabby has been stalling at junctions and ive replaced the inlet valve so this is my last idea...any help welcomed. cheers
Escort Cabriolet Club
Engines are not my area matey but my Old Mk5a stalled in the exact same way due to a Vacume leak behind the manifold !!!
Guest hagondaz
i had this problem i just adjusted the petrometer (i beleive thats what its called) temparaily turned it anti clockwise. BUT... i wouldn't recoment it apparently it puts it out by the smallest turn but it's worked for me it doesn't smell rich and it ticks over at roughly 800rpm so looks fine. get more advice first though, and as i said only really a temp fix.
