Guest mitch860
Hey all, As some of you may know that i am have difficulties with my MK4 efi Xr3i, It starts up fine but the only way to key it running smooth is to rev the nuts of it. If i try keepin the car at a normal speed she seems to struggle as if she aint gettin enough fuel thou when not revin the hell out of her! Ive change fuel pump new fuel fliter oil change and filter includin engine clean. Cheaked breather pipes and replace 1 what was split. Also changed the flame catcher/breather flitter on rocker cover case, Had new plugs waitin on leads, :help: any ideas will be helpful as i dont really want to take it to my local garage as last time the stung me 350 for nothing as they cudnt find problem but when they dropped it back to my friend and i took fuel tank down to find a split fuel pipe! many thanks mitch
Guest bolf
i would guess at the idle stabilisation , iscv valve , do a quick search to find out how to clean it.

Guest charlie74
possible it could be faulty power to the injectors,, or a ecu fault,, have you tried swapping them over with known good ones? or wiggle the leads to the injectors,, had a duff one on a maz once,, similar issues

Guest barryd
Fuel filter? Could be starvation - so maybe check the routing of the pipe?
