Just wondering as i may have enriched my fuel a little bit! by turning the adjust screw when thinking i know what am doing? :happy001: does any one know which way you turn the screw to make it rich or to lean it out?

Oh Dear...lol. when you really get into it, a full tune guide would be better. i do my own rs tuning on the MFI. what is it running? if you live close by i can tune it for you. but here is a rough guide to what you do for the air/fuel mixture. also, it only takes a little turn. not like quarter here and there else your never get it spot on.

Take of the airbox to expose the padle. Warm the engine up and only make adjustments when the fan is off. Now gently push down on the padle, You will only need to move it 1mm max. Push farther and the engine will stall. Do the engine revs increase or decrease. If they increase then its lean, If they decrease then its rich. When turning the mixture screw clockwise richens it and anticlockwise leans it out. You will get to a point where the revs dont rise or fall, When you reach this point make it slightly rich. And I mean slightly. You might have to push down on the mixture screw to engage it, It depends on what type you have. One last thing the head of the mixture screw is a 3mm allen key and you will need a LONG reach allen key to reach it. And thats pretty much it my friends. Have fun.

This applies to both S1 and S2, Also after each time you make an adjustment cover the mixture screw hole so your not drawing in air. If going for an MOT make it slightly lean just in case then alter later. Its better than having to pay another £40 if its slightly over.
