Guest markeyboy
idle speed control valve would probably be a good starting point try giving it a good clean out, ps liking the white rocker cover
Guest chris24
take the black air pipe off and then spray carb cleaner straight in to the throttle body getting it all round the hole and all over the flap, worked for me Chris

Guest markeyboy
to test it you need to connect it up to a ohm meter, you should see a steady increace in ohms when turning the sensor what does it idle like?

Guest shellscabby
Hi Badger Did you get this sorted after, if so what was the problem. I have had exactly the same problem but mine is the 1600 ingection. I changed the black box which is at the back of engine on the heater suround?? and the air control censor. She is still abit jumpy but i hope that will clear as she only bin back on the road for 2 days. I need aan airfilter tho which is proving a nitemare as the 3 they have gave me have been wrong so far. If anyone knows the number for the filter please let me no. lol
Guest MCBob
Its more than likely going to be the VSS sensor. vehicle speed sensor. It wont be ISCV as the problem is relative to speed aswell..
