Hi All

I'm in need of a little help, I recently found out my rear discs where shot after a visit to the mechanics but for the life of me I just cant seem to get hold of the right rear discs for the car, even after supplying the full reg number aswell. the last ones sent where wrong and had to be sent back as they did not account for the rear handbrake shoes inside the disc (duel Purpose) does anybody know where I can purchase a set of rear discs and also just what the model number is of these discs for future refernce?

Thanks

Iv'e looked at the rear discs for the RS2000 and there totally different i'm affraid, they only accomodate the pads .. not the brake shoes aswell. does any body else out there have a M reg escort Cab 1.8 Si with rear discs that can point me in the right direction?

As far as I know they never came with rear discs! First thing that came to my mind was someones done a rear disc conversion from an RS2000 onto it.

well from what iv'e been told there quite rare but most definately original, iv'e since contacted someone else on ebay who has a set that he says are the ones i'm looking for but i'm awaiting confirmation as I don't wish to have to send them back and waist more time if they again turn out to be the wrong ones, softtopste if you could keep me updated with that part number that would be great.

Thanks all for your help

Bit confused at this, as they do infact use drum brakes inside the disc?

They look exactly like RS2K discs.

Make sure youre asking for 91-95 mk5 escort discs, as later had drums.
