Guest Eggsy
I very much doubt it m8 as the 130 is a 1.8 - youl probably run the risk of bending the valves on the pistons due to the lift caused by the cam.

Guest mk4stu
im a dummy with engines so dont take my word. me uncle had a 1.6 zetec 90 ps he fitted 130 cams, inlet manifold, throttle body and maf sensor or air flow sensor and it run mint for 2 years until he sold it, it did die when the new owner cracked the sump and run it dry as expected
Guest markeyboy
nice stright through exhaust with decat and a decent induction kit should see a bit of an improvement, failing that it would be a larger engine swap (power to £££'s its a much better option)
Guest Alanman
I don't know much about these engines so I apologise but just fitting a set of cams out of a bigger engine wont nessesarily do anything at all surely. Just cos its from a bigger engine dosnt mean the cams will open the valves anymore. You need to do everything really, the same as Stu's Uncle did. Guest barryd
As our cousinz in the US say - no substitue for cubic inches.... fit the bigger engine.
Guest IanA
Hi The cheapest way to get a noticeable power boost is to change your oil and add some Activ8. It costs about £25 for 250 ml. Put half in the engine, half what's left in the gearbox and add a few drips to to the grease in the rear bearings. It's only cutting oil and often dissed by oil company people but you'll notice the difference immediately if the oil is hot when you add it. It really made my crossflows and CVH more pokey at the top end. Didn't really notice that on the Zetec, that just pulls better in third. Cheers Ian
