Guest ESSEXGIRLRACER Posted November 27, 2008 Share Posted November 27, 2008 i believe so, i know a few rs turbo boys who are running deisel boxes, wait for a second opinion to matey HI I MANAGED TO BLOW A HOLE IN THE SIDE OF MY GEARBOX IN MY MK4 CAB WHERE THE DIFF BEARING SHATTERED, AND I WAS GONNA PUT A TUBO BOX IN BUT SOMEONE SAID PUT THE DIESEL BOX IN AS THEY ARE THE SAME BUT A LOT BETTER AND A LOT STRONGER........AND A FEW OF MY MATES WHO HAVE TURBO'S HAVE ALSO PUT DIESEL BOX'S IN INSTEAD...... Guest steelcabby Posted November 29, 2008 Share Posted November 29, 2008 diesel box isn't stronger. rs turbo ones are just as good but with the lsd.. if you want a stronger box. get the one from a fiesta rs1800 zetec and put the lsd from the rs turbo in it. fits straight in. i went through an xr3i and rs turbo box in a year. swapped the lsd in an rs1800 and have had no problem. its also a box recommended from the worthing which he uses on his fiesta turbo running well over 300bhp Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
