hi all just wondering im wanting to upgrade my mk 4 cabbie front breaks to s2 turbo do you need to cange the mounting brakets as well as iv got some calipers and discs but no rs turbo mounting brakets . many thanks grant

hello grant no you dont need to change the mounting brackets the s2 rs turbo discs and calipers just bolt straight on with no worries easy job with good benefits hope this helps you mate thanks eddie.

hi cant see that rst discs will fit under the xr3 mouting brakets as theres not room with the xr discs many thanks grant

grant i fitted s2 rsturbo brakes and calipers to my xr3i cabby with no problems just bolted straight on so providing you definetly have s2 rs turbo discs and calipers there should'nt be a problem fitting them hope this helps thanks eddie.

you need to take the complete XR caliper unit off the hub, and put the complete RS caliper onto your hub. brake pipes are the same. hubs are the same. but slidders are different.

 

XR mounting brackets are completely different to RS mounting brackets Mate
