Guest sam1987 Posted September 10, 2008 Share Posted September 10, 2008 Bought my mk5 the other day and nothing but problems with the electrics. to start with one good thing is my roof electrics are working great but my front windows have about a 5mm gap at the top i can push them up but when i shut my door they just fall again. Then i found out my windscrean wipers are not working at all not even the washer part was wondering if it was my stalk not working as it is not a fuse or a relay. Plus my indicators are not working but my hazards are. My rear electric windows are not working at all checked fuses can any one offer any help. Guest sam1987 Posted September 13, 2008 Share Posted September 13, 2008 (edited) Found out it was my fuse box that was broke and having real trouble getting hold of a new 1. iv taken it to an auto electrician and they said it is the ignition part which is broke so they are going to have a go at fixing it.
