hi all, right my mk4 was bought with what the previous owner told me spax adjustables which i can see are,and rs turbo springs cabriolet spec.now i think the ride ishard which i can live with but at times its like the wheels are springing back over bumps and cornering isnt that great either,it is on 15 inch alloys and i like the side on view so i presume the rs springs will have lowered it but by how much. I have read all the forum and read different views, but can anyone actually say they think the g max suspension kit 40 fo 05 lowering 30mm to 35mm would be better than what i have, i dont know how long my suspension has been on, so it could be worn.I am also thinkin about poly bushes on the front as i think mine could be worn,any advice on this appreciated before i spend any more money cheers scotty.

you can get 3 kits for the mk4 escort from G-MAX. 25mm 45mm 60mm

 

60mm is too low and you;d only really use that for show reasons.

 

45mm is a nice setup, still low and a hard ride, but you can fit your 17"s under as long as you have the right off set for the car

 

25mm is the best all round suspension kit. best for handling and ride comfort, fit a nice set of 16" under that and you should be very happy

 

for handle wise i'd go for a 25mm with 15"'s.

 

for good looks i'd go for a 40mm drop on 17"s unless you wanna spend 500 pounds on a coil over set? but TBH i wouldn't bother wasting your money on coil overs.

FOR SOME REASON i CANT PUT A PIC ON MAYBE COS I THICK WITH COMPUTERS, THANKS FOR YA ADVICE,I COULD ONLY FIND 2 KITS ON G MAX SITE FOR MINE 60MM DROP OR 40MM DROP STILL UNDECIDED BUT I ONLY HAVIN 15 INCH WHEELS ANYWAY HAD 17" S ON MY MINI CHEERS SCOTTY.
