Guest J33EEM Posted July 21, 2008 Share Posted July 21, 2008 HI everyone I'm new to the site and new to the whole ford thing. i just bought a mk5 convertible which was running fine, turned it off for 20 minutes went to start it again and now it wont start???? it is turning over and is fueling but there is no spark what so ever if anyone would be able to shed some light on this i appreciate it an awful lot Thanks James Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest J33EEM Posted July 23, 2008 Share Posted July 23, 2008 may be a imobiliser problem mate That was my fist suspect, but the original one has been cut out by the looks of thing....... ive been told it could be the coil pack but i don't want to buy one and find out its not that lol Is there some sort of a way to check and see if it is the culprit ? ?
