Guest bego2k Posted July 13, 2008 Share Posted July 13, 2008 Im trying to get the front windows to go higher coz on the passenger side i have a gap between the windscreen seal and the slope of the window. Problem is i have no idea how to do it, iv read the haynes manual and it says nothing about it. i think its just 1 bolt or nut i need to adjust to bring the height up. Please help. If you remove the door card, you will see 2 bolts on the left / right ( depending on what door card you remove ) if you undo both of them this will be enough for you to move the current position of the window either up or down. once happy with the windows location, just tighten the bolts back up and Volia..... Hi guys i have done this but it hasnt changed position, i tried pulling it up n things but nothing was making any difference. This is for the mk5. Guest marcus Posted July 13, 2008 Share Posted July 13, 2008 I think you are looking at the wrong part of the mecanism, the height ajustment is done by the stop that is on the actual motor part plate.
