Guest malcolm
Hi Bit of a newbie dumb question....... Have recently bought a 1990 (G) cabriolet, and have found now that the locked boot doesn't open. Key fits ok, so not sure what's next? Anyone out there any ideas?

Guest malcolm
have you tried turning to the left as you look at it and the turn key back to 12 o'clock position then push it in Tried that, unfortunately didn't work, thanks anyway.
Guest gotty
Does the key turn in the lock ? Does the lock pop all the way out ? Mine if the lock hasnt poped all the way out it wont unlock even tho the key turns in the lock.
Guest blackleb3
if your still having this problem how to open the boot would be drill throught the centre of the lock till you push the latch to open the door then never lock the boot again to replace the lock goto a scrap yard and ask for a sierra lock just by looking at it you can see if it fits before you buy
