I HAVE AN COMPLETE RS TURBO SO HOPEFULLY THIS WILL HELP! THE XR31 LUMP IS READY 2 COME OUT & FROM READING ON THE FORUMS IT SEEMS I NEED TO CHANGE THE COMPLETE LOOM? THIS IS WHERE HOPEFULLY YOU COULD HELP,I WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK TO ANYONE WHO HAS DONE THIS BEFORE TO GET SOME HELP. I DO HAVE A MECHANIC HELPING ME BUT HE HAS NEVER DONE ONE ON THIS TYPE OF CAR SO I THOUGHT I WOULD SEE IF ANY OF YOU COULD HELP. Guest ukchopper1 Posted May 15, 2008 Share Posted May 15, 2008 Just done this conversion over winter though a mk3, same principle. use the whole loom, remove dash, seats, carpets, rear cards, rear seat, feed the wires through. label every connector, because you will forget a few!! be over careful with the loom, there old and wires break 2-3 hours your have the loom in. then just drop the engine in plug it all together; turn the key and off you go happy days when i first thought of doing mine i was cacking my selfl; reading any forum topic about this subject. then just took my time its a lot easier than i thought Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
