Just woundering if anyone is in the know of any good welders in Stoke-on-trent area, as Ive notice that my Battery tray on my MK5 has seen better days and will need replacing im sure for the MOT in July.. Ive been told that the best way is to remove the dasboard so that the sound protection ect can be pulled back and its better to see that job in hand.. Guest edy Posted April 23, 2008 Share Posted April 23, 2008 i would i would give it a go, but stoke it a wee bit far. you should think about giving it a go yourself. i just got an arc from aldi (not good to start with) then i got a mig for about £40 of ebay and just practiced on some scrap. im not fantastic but can get some decent welds Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
