Guest cabbyclaire
are these cheap to come across?? are they universal or do they need to be compatible??
Guest steelcabby
if you have alot of cash get coil-overs, but for a cheap upgrade i recommend G-MAX the full G-MAX suspension kit costs about 179 pounds. thats shocks and springs, it lowers your car by roughly 35-40mm. that would be your max really or your ruin it. and lose complete ride comfort. this is a pic of mine on G-MAX Supersport suspension riding on 17" wheels. they never rubbed and had no arch mods. I plan on using the same kit for my new mk4 cabby. they are easy to fit too. so you can do it yourself. take 2 hours

Guest lutonman12
it ll be a bone shaker!!!lol and your rims will scrape the arches!!!you wont have full lock!!and you ll probably batter your front bumper off everything!!!
Guest steelcabby
not forgetting dragging your exhaust and fuel pump along the floor. yoou may even wedge your car on some nice hills too. trust us, save your money and time and get the right setup, it can still look good with the right wheels and skirts etc. it will handle alot better too and save your tyres

Guest orion88
mines dropped 60mm on koni adjustables with 16 rims and its perfect it handles like a go kart and dont rub or catch the only thin i catch is my exhaust a little but theyre an easy job to swop over really simple:)
Guest edy
yeh, mines the same 60mm drop on 16" rims it handels gr8, but you do feel every bump in the road, and i have to try and avoide speed bumps. but the main problem was when i had 4 of us in it the rear arches rubbed going around corners so i created these from a rubber mallet to go inbetween the coils on the rear springs no there is no rubbing and the car dont seam to pick up as many of the bumps somehow. be carefull though i had to open up the spring using two jacks and the front of the land rover, trust me not fun when it slips off and shoots over the road nearly taking ya knee caps off :wow:
