Guest ANDYA Posted March 5, 2008 Share Posted March 5, 2008 Here's an answer Reid made to an earlier question; 'there should be 2 wires attached to it, a little un and a big red 1. the big red 1 carries the charge back to the battery (via the starter) and the little blue 1 is for the battery light. if the blue 1 is broke then the battery wont charge and you wont be getting a light either.' Guest ANDYA Posted March 8, 2008 Share Posted March 8, 2008 Here we go Allblue, I got underneath this afternoon and took some pics. Sorry they are a bit blurred, I was trying for a closeup. The first image is from below, it shows the double red wires which are bolted in to a black protective shroud, the single blue goes on to a push on terminal just above this. Play with the magnification to improve the clarity. The second pic is from above and shows the blue wire more clearly. The third gives a better view of the position of all the wires.
