If you have a Mk5 then this sounds about right as on high spec models, the dials are BACK-LIT GREEN and FRONT LIT ORANGE, when you put LOCKWOODS on they some times block the light for the back light so all you get is front light, its simple to change the filter to a different colour !!! Guest stonewall Posted February 28, 2008 Share Posted February 28, 2008 i fitted the white lockwood dials and at first i put blue bulbs in but found i could not read the speedo at night so replaced with white bulbs and its green with orange needles dont look to bad.
