Escort Cabriolet Club Posted February 9, 2008 Share Posted February 9, 2008 My Mk6 and my Mk5a didn't have central locking on the bootlid mate, its independent from the system, thats why you use the key, it is possible to fit a solinoid and switch to the center console to 'POP' the lid and save using the key all the time !!!
